Jack English has been the preaching minister for the Elkins Church of Christ since June 2021. He previously served churches in Fayetteville, Arkansas (20 years); Abilene, Texas; Clarksville, Arkansas; and Kiowa, Oklahoma.

Jack was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas and received a BA degree from Oklahoma Christian University and a MS degree from Abilene Christian University.

He is married to wife Patricia (Lashley) and they have two married daughters and five grandchildren.

Jack has served as a Hospital Chaplain and a Corporate Chaplain for several years. He has traveled or preached in 17 foreign countries and conducted seminars and workshops for churches, universities, and Christian camps throughout the United States.

He presently teaches a Bible class at the Elkins Senior Activity Center on the first and third Thursdays of the month.

He loves to hunt, fish, and support the Arkansas Razorbacks.
