What We Believe

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). It is our only rule of faith and practice and is sufficient for all matters of doctrine, worship, and Christian living.

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). God is the creator of all things, holy, loving, and just.

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who became human (John 1:1-14). He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day.

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead who works in the lives of believers. He indwells Christians, produces spiritual fruit, and guides us through God’s Word (Galatians 5:22-33; John 16:13).

We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). This faith is shown by repenting of sin, confessing your faith in Jesus as Savior and Lord, and being baptized for forgiveness of sins (Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38).

We believe the church is the body of Christ on earth and exists to save the lost and edify the saved.

We believe Jesus Christ will one day return to take those who have obeyed the gospel to be with him forever (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
